We All Are Born Travellers
Yes, I do believe that all of us are born travellers. It’s embedded in our blood and genes. It comes naturally to us. It’s just that the definition varies from person to person.
In fact, our planet, or for that matter our entire cosmos, is travelling somewhere into the unknown, and we all are a part of it. What according to you, does that make us? Our journey as a traveller started the day we were born. What are your thoughts on the same?
Travel is an integral part of our daily routine. Our lives are intricately woven or linked with travel, and this is most likely where the term “Travel and Living” was coined.
I believe, for example, just a normal thing like going to school is a part of Travel. As children, we pack our bags and segregate them into different sections. We commute to our schools by bus, van, tuk-tuk, so on and so forth. We have a scheduled departure and an arrival time. So, when we leave our homes and board our school bus, we are surrounded by students/children from all origins, ethnicities, belief systems, and philosophies. There is also a variable age group. Despite all the differences, we blend in together and find unity.
During our class lectures, we gather all the information, improve our knowledge and learn about a variety of things that we were previously unaware of.
During those lunch breaks, we sit with our friends on those lush green school grounds or, when it rains, in those cosy little corridors. We spread out our mats and take our seats around the tiffin boxes. We chat, we share, we relish the food, and sometimes even argue as if we were all a part of “One Family.” It is like a small getaway, where we get to taste a variety of cuisines from all of those different households.
School and travel are similar to a relay race, in which students from many cultures and belief systems pass the baton of values, beliefs, and unity. We connect on a human emotional front and hence begin our journey to evolve as a person.
That is precisely how Travel aids in our personal development. Despite all the diversity, we find a beautifully woven connection through love, forging an eternal bond amongst each other.
